end preventable blindness, Lions participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities. The La Porte City Lions Club has raised more than $30,000 for Union Community Schools projects, more than $40,000 for the La Porte City Community and has given over $20,000 in scholarships to local students. The Lions Club hosts Fish Fry's, Waffle Breakfast's, the annual Festival of Trails town celebration and many more fun-filled family activities.
